For a card that consisted of 21 fights it ended like 18 of the fights on the card, early. By 11:30 pm EST the last patron was gone, the cage was being dismantled, and checks being cut.

With 18 finishes and two split decisions some would think it would have been difficult to choose post event awards, it was not.

Both of the performances of the night came from South Shore Sportsfighting. Undefeated pro bantamweight and now 7-0 Manny Bermudez earned his nod by shocking Rodrigo Almeida (13-4) and his fans by taking only :54 second to defeat the hardened veteran.

Amateur welterweight Bobby Gasdia (4-1) dropped down to welterweight to face John McAndrews (5-2) for the promotions vacant title. McAndrews, a champion at middleweight with another promotion has been dominate in all of his wins, which is why Gasdia earned our second award of the night. He was able to overwhelm and flustered McAndrews who never was able to really get going.

Fight of the night goes to the sole female fight on the card between Kerri Kenneson (3-1) of Team Link NH and Kylie O’Hearn (2-1) of Juniko. It was an amazing display of mixed martial arts accompanied by a ferocity from both fighters that was not match in any of the 20 other bouts. Kenneson, the more patient and composed fighter needed to to channel those attributes to combat the unparalleled aggression and resiliency of O’Hearn that has made her one of the most entertaining fighters in the region.
